What is a VeryWendy Design?

A VeryWendy Design is a personalized fashion illustration capturing the essence of you.  Created by Wendy DeFeudis, a Milan-trained fashion illustrator, your drawing will be a highly stylized and fashionable portrait of you in your favorite designer clothes.   

It is not a caricature.  It’s actually a fashionable interpretation of you as you would be if you were standing on the runway in Milan.  VeryWendy’s drawing style exemplifies her fashion illustration training in Italy.  The figures are long legged, glorious and fabulous in dressed in exotic designer outfits.

If you are looking for something unique, fashionable and a gift that can span all ages, then VeryWendy’s services are for you.  Each drawing completely customized and created for your guest within minutes on the spot.  Your guests are guaranteed to enjoy the fashion sketch that makes them look like they have just walked the catwalk of the world’s hottest designer.

How can VeryWendy incorporate the theme of your party into her work?

If you are interested in having VeryWendy work with your party theme, Wendy can pre-draw your picture before the event based on photographs that you can email to her.  You can add a description of clothes you would like to be wearing and any other details you would like in the drawing that make you special.  She will send you a pencil draft for your approval.  Once approved, the image will be painted and colored.  Then she will bring colored copies of the drawing with her to your party and draw the guests into the picture.  So each guest will leave will a fashion drawing of them next to your pre-drawn picture. 

What does VeryWendy charge for an event?

VeryWendy’s fees vary from project to project depending on time involved, supplies and any required travel. For a custom quote, please call 646 522 0604.

How does the payment work?

If you would like to book VeryWendy for an event, you will need to hold the date by submitting a signed contract and 25% non-refundable deposit.  For custom art, 50% of the fee is due upon the commencement of the project.

How many drawings or illustrations can be done in an hour?

VeryWendy works hard and fast to make sure all of your guests are accommodated.  A typical event is 4 hours and 80 guests, but that varies on complexity of design and choice of services.  VeryWendy will work with you to recommend the best service for your party.
