Founded in New York in 2001, Artist Wendy DeFeudis launched VeryWendy Designs to offer custom illustration design services and on-site fashion entertainment.  With more than a decade of marketing expertise combined with a fashion education in Milan, Italy, Wendy sets new trends in social communications combining a unique mix of style, art and fashion with creative promotions.   Wendy's™ work has garnered the attention of world's top fashion publications, luxury goods and consumer companies.

Along with her passion for fashion and marketing, Wendy is an entrepreneur at heart. In 2004, recognizing a need to have greeting cards on hand, Wendy introduced VeryWendy's™ Social Emergency Kit, a collection of 20 different cards for every social occasion .  This cleverly designed and illustrated product was recognized as the #1 trend product in 2006 by Greetings & Etc. Magazine and was featured in several national publications including InStyle, W, Elle, New York Daily News and Parenting Magazine.  VeryWendy's™ Social Emergency Kit was sold online at verywendy.com and in retail outlets throughout the country." 

Wendy's™ entrepreneurial spirit was rewarded as she was the first business woman to be featured on Ladies Who Launch, a highly acclaimed social networking site for women and business.  In addition to VeryWendy Designs, Wendy continues to work as a marketing and public relations consultant under her company, GeneratePR (www.generatepr.com).  Wendy has a strong passion for fitness and also works as a personal trainer, helping people achieve their fitness goals.

Wendy holds a Bachelor of Arts from the College of the Holy Cross and a Fashion Design Certificate from Istituto Marangon, Italy.
